Olympiakos sign Javier Saviola

Greek giants Olympiakos have completed the signing of Argentina striker Javier Saviola. The player joins the club having completed a spell at Spanish side Malaga last season.

The player has signed a two year contract with the Greek side and will link up with his new team-mates this week.<br />

"I would like to thank the supporters who came out to welcome me and have showed me such love in my first moments here in Athens," Saviola said.<br />

"I am very happy to be here. I have a lot of desire and motivation to get to know my team mates and start training.<br />

&ldquo;I hope that we will manage to achieve great things this year."
