Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino is understood to be weighing up a move for Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair this summer according to The Sun.
The 24 year old has been in the radar of many Premier League clubs including Everton and West Bromwich.
The former Swansea winger,who moved to Eastlands last summer, has been spending most of his time on the bench and would be looking for a move away to kickstart his career once again.
New City manager Manuel Pellegrini has already brought in Jesus Navas from Sevilla this summer and it is likely that Sinclair would find himself more often on the bench this season.
