Zaragoza confirm interest in United striker

27 July 2013 - 16:44

Spanish side Real Zaragoza have confirmed their interest in Manchester United rookie Angelo Henriquez.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
 • Chilean newspaper El Mercurio quoted Zaragoza boss Paco Herrera as saying, "We are very interested in Angelo Henriquez"
"We have been following him and we hope to get a response from their club soon."
"He is a striker full of technical qualities, could be a good signing."
United signed the young Chilean last summer but soon sent him out on loan to Wigan Athletic to get some valuable first team experience.
Henriquez, who is yet to earn a senior cap for Manchester United, made 4 appearances for Wigan last season scoring only one.
The teen forward is likely to once again be sent out on loan with first team opportunities difficult to come. It remains to be seen if United sell him after just one season at the club without a single first team appearance.
