Totteham and Valencia enter Soldado talks

Tottenham Hotspurs are believed to be in negotiations with Valencia over the transfer of Spain international Roberto Soldado according to Sky sources.

  • Tottenham manager Andre Villas Boas has been chasing the Spanish striker while the La Liga side are holding out for Tottenham to meet the striker's buy out price. 



    It is believed that Valencia will be only willing to let their star striker go if the North Londoners cough up £25.8 million and buy out his contract. Soldado is also keen on a move to the Premier League and is tryihng to push through his move to White Hart Lane.



    Soldado has spent 3 seasons at the Mestalla and scored 59 goals for the Spanish side. 



    The 28 year old will become Tottenham's third signing of the summer after Paulinho signed for the club from Corinthians and Nacer Chadlli moved recently from FC Twente.
