Tottenham star Bale unhappy with chairman Daniel Levy

29 July 2013 - 08:54

Tottenham's winger Gareth Bale is reportedly frustrated with chairman Daniel Levy as the player is disappointed that his club have refused to open talks regarding a transfer that would see the Welshman move to Real Madrid.

 • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder
 • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso
 • Spurs have reportedly received an enquiry from Real Madrid and the player is open to a move to Spain; but Bale is fuming that Tottenham have so far told Real that they are not ready to discuss a transfer away for the Welshman.
Reports from Spain indicate that £80 million would be enough to persuade Spurs to sell, but Levy is hoping to push the Spanish side to as much as £100 million so that he can pursue the likes of PSG midfielder Javier Pastore as a direct replacement.
According to other reports, Bale is unhappy because he has a gentleman's agreement with chairman Levy that he could listen to any offers should a sizable bid be received.
