Joey Barton offered to Everton

Midfield misfit Joey Barton's representatives have reportedly offered the player to Roberto Martinez's side Everton, as the player's future at French side Marseille has come into some doubt.

Last year Barton spent time on loan at Marseille but has now returned to London with QPR after a deal to sign the English defender on a permanent basis could not be agreed.



Barton's representatives have been busy trying to find him a new club for the coming season, and according to reports, they have even offered to join Everton and halve his salary to move to Goodison Park.
