Adan In Talks With Sporting CP

31 July 2013 - 20:22

Real Madrid goalkeeper Antonio Adan is reportedly keen on a transfer to Sporting CP this summer, in search of regular football. According to a report in Football Espana, the shot-stopper has made clear his desire to leave Los Bloncos this transfer season.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • The 26-year-old briefly replaced Iker Casillas last season, before the arrival of Diego Lopez in January. He is believed to be upset with the lack of regular chances for the Liga giants.

The report suggests that Adan has opened negotiations with Sporting CP of Portugal. Real Madrid have reportedly given the goalie their consent to leave the club on a free this summer, despite a year to run on his contract.

It is believed that his current earnings of €700,000 a year have caused the interested clubs in Spain to hold back their move for the goalkeeper.
