AC Milan have finally sealed the move of Inter defender Matias Silvestre on a season long loan deal. Silvestre had a disappointing season with the Nerazzurri last term.
It has been confirmed by Inter that the Argentine will spend the next season under the guidance of Massimiliano Allegri. Milan were in a desperate need for defensive signings this summer, following the injury sustained by Daniele Bonera.
"Inter announce that the Argentine defender Matias Silvestre has been transferred to AC Milan on loan with an option to buy," a Nerazzurri statement read.
The 28-year-old joined the Nerazzurri from Palermo last season but failed to secure a regular starting spot for the club. He also spent three years at the Serie A outfit Catania.
