Chelsea re-sign veteran keeper Hilario on a one year deal

West London club Chelsea have resigned their former goalkeeper Hilario on a one year deal as per Sky Sports. The 37-year-old looked set for an exit from Stamford Bridge after his name appeared on the list of players set to be released by the Blues this summer.

  • Hilario who was recently included in the squad for the pre-season tour of the United States said: "It feels really good to sign a new contract for another year at the club, I’m very proud.



    "I’m really pleased to be part of this great squad and I’m looking forward to working once again with Jose Mourinho.”



    The upcoming season would be the seventh spent with the Blues for the one time Portuguese International.
