Chelsea re-sign veteran keeper Hilario on a one year deal

West London club Chelsea have resigned their former goalkeeper Hilario on a one year deal as per Sky Sports. The 37-year-old looked set for an exit from Stamford Bridge after his name appeared on the list of players set to be released by the Blues this summer.

  • Hilario who was recently included in the squad for the pre-season tour of the United States said: "It feels really good to sign a new contract for another year at the club, I’m very proud.<br />

    "I’m really pleased to be part of this great squad and I’m looking forward to working once again with Jose Mourinho.”<br />

    The upcoming season would be the seventh spent with the Blues for the one time Portuguese International.
