Borussia Dortmund in race to sign Chelsea forward Demba Ba?

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly monitoring Senegalese international forward Demba Ba's situation at Chelsea, amidst reports that the forward has been deemed surplus to requirements by manager Jose Mourinho.

Ba has slipped down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge as Mourinho has reportedly told Romelu Lukaku and Fernando Torres are his preferred partnership up front for the coming season.<br />

Meanwhile, German side Borussia Dortmund has now entered the race for Demba Ba. Ba already has experience playing in the Bundesliga, with the Senegalese international previously playing for Hoffenheim between 2007 and 2011.<br />

Chelsea are ready to sell Ba for a reported 10 million Euros.
