Portugual international defender Pepe admits that he is not sure if he will be playing at Real Madrid this coming season. Manchester City have been keeping an eye on the player's contract situation at Madrid.
It is understood that the player wants to sign a new deal at Real, but the Spanish side are not willing to give the 30-year-old centre back the four year deal that he is reportedly demanding.
"I'm a professional," Pepe said. "They left a lot of things unsaid at the end of last season but I have a contract to fulfil.
"I'm talking to the president of Madrid and my representatives to see what will happen. I have a contract, I love the club and I have great affection for the people.”
