Bacary Sagna to land new Arsenal deal this month

Arsenal will offer French full back Bacary Sagna a new contract, with the French right back set to put pen to paper on a brand new three year deal at the Emirates. The defender and his club had been locked in talks over a deal for over a year; finally it appears that a deal is on the verge of being agreed.

The defender has already been linked with a move away from Arsenal but looks set to stay at the club for the time being.<br />

It is understood that Sagna will be offered a bumper deal to keep him at the club.<br />

"We will try to extend Bacary Sagna&rsquo;s contract", Wenger was quoted as saying by Eurosport.&nbsp;
