Premier League newcomers Cardiff City could make a bid for Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone. The Bluebirds manager Malky Mackay has been active in the transfer market this summer having signed Spurs' Steven Caulker for a fee of £8m.

Cardiff City could head back to the North London Club in an attempt to sign Tom Huddlestone, who has failed to secure a regular first-team spot under Andre Villas-Boas.<br />

The signing of Brazilian midfielder Paulinho from Sao Paulo this summer has made Huddlestone fall down the pecking order and the 26-year-old will now be keen to get his&nbsp; career back on track and stay in the Premier league with recently promoted Cardiff City.
