AC Milan's M'Baye Niang rules out Newcastle move

AC Milan's M'baye Niang has denied speculation of a switch away from the San Siro this summer. The Magpies were keen on acquiring the services of the young forward in 2012 when he was playing his trade for French club Cannes, but missed out as he opted to move to the Serie A giants AC Milan.

  • The 18-year-old striker has been linked with a move to St James' Park this summer, after struggling to settle at the Serie A outfit. Niang has failed to score in 20 Serie A matches following his switch from France but he showed his determination to stay with Milan. 



    He told l'equipe: "I'm happy at milan and I want to stay" 



    "I know what I can give to the team and I don't fear the competition for places. 



    "I can play as a striker, on the left or right, I'll play wherever the coach needs me.I know that I have the qualities to make an impact with this club."
