Premier League side Fulham have successfully signed Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taraabt for a season long loan deal.
Martin Jol has previously worked with the QPR trickster during his managerial reign at White Hart Lane and expressed delight on having acquired his services for the following season.
Taraabt made 29 appearances for the Rangers last season and scored 5 goals but failed to keep his side afloat in the Premier League. The 24 year old, who received a vote of confidence from his new manager, believes that he needs to play at the top level and would want to go back to Loftus Road sometime later.
"This was a difficult decision for me, but at this stage of my career I feel I need to be playing at the top level," he said.
"I hope the fans understand my decision and I really hope to return to Loftus Road one day. I wish QPR well for the season and hope they achieve promotion back to where I believe the club belongs."
