Arsenal's Marouane Chamakh set to have a medical at Crystal Palace?

Arsenal's flop striker Marouane Chamakh is reportedly edging closer to a permanent switch to Premier League newcomers Crystal Palace. The newly-promoted Premier League outfit had recently admitted of their interest in the Moroccan International, who has fallen down the pecking order in the Gunners squad.

  • Reports in England suggest that the 29-year-old Moroccan forward is set to have a medical with the Eagles on Friday ahead of a permanent move to the club, according to the Croydon Guardian.<br />

    Earlier, reports had suggested that the transfer agreement was to be done on a loan basis, but it has now been assured that Crystal Palace will sign the striker on a permanent deal.<br />

    Marouane has notched up 14 goals in his 67 appearances for the Gunners.
