Roberto Mancini has spoken of his disappointment after his Inter Milan side failed to hang on to a 1-0 victory against Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico at the weekend. Mancini feels that Juventus should've grabbed the three points in Serie A.
Mauro Camoranesi's strike cancelled out Julio Cruz's opener for the visitors, but the away draw is not enough for Mancini.
"We didnât want to get a draw here, but unfortunately if you donât go 2-0 up then that is what can happen. The draw is not the right result, we deserved all three points," said the Inter manager.
"We wasted a great deal and in football if you do that, you get punished. I am only sorry that we were unable to seal the win, as we were deserving of that victory.
"This was a great opportunity to stretch out at the top, but we cannot have regrets considering our excellent performance."
