Indonesian starlet Andik Vermansyah is all set for a shock trial with Premier League newcomers Cardiff City, according to reports from Asia. Vermansyah is widely tipped as one of the brightest young talents in Asian football and has already been courted by the likes of Valencia and Lyon.
The 21-year-old winger has earned 8 caps for his country, scoring one goal. Currently playing for Persebaya, the player will reportedly join Cardiff on a trial period and the club will have the option to make a permanent deal for the player next January.<br />
ESPN Soccernet rated Vermansyah as one of the hottest prospects to watch in Asian football in 2012, and a move to Europe will cement his position in that list.
