<strong>Manchester United hitman and Premier League's top scorer from last season Robin Van Persie has urged his team mate Wayne Rooney to remain at Old Trafford beyond the summer.</strong>
The prolific Dutchman was full of praise for the disgruntled United number 10 and revealed playing alongside Rooney was a motivating factor behind his move last summer.<br />
The England international's future remains unclear despite boss David Moyes rebuffing any suggestions of a possible exit. <br />
He told The Sun: "Everyone wants Wayne to stay and deep down I think he feels the same.<br />
"One of the reasons I joined Manchester United was to play with Wayne.<br />
