Premier League clubs are believed to be closely monitoring Watford striker Troy Deeney after a terrific start to the Championship season earlier this month.
Tottenham Hostpurs, Fulham and West Ham are all reportedly assessing Deeney after the 25 year old started the new season in fine form scoring 4 goals in 2 matches.
Deeney has been in good goalscoring form for The Hornets since last season after he ended up with 20 goals in the 2012-13 season.
Deeney's fine performance during Watford's 6-1 demolition of Bournemouth witnessed the first hat trick by any Hornets player at the Vicarage road since David Connolly in 1996.
Both Fulham and West Ham bosses have been looking for a new striker this transfer window and Deeney could well be one of the top targets for either of the two clubs this summer.
However, Watford boss Zianfranco Zola admitted that he would not want to lose Deeney but added that anything can still happen.
"The transfer window is still open - and that could be a problem."
