Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly started talks with Serie A outfit As Roma over a move for their talented winger Erik Lamela.<br /><br />The North London club are understood to have placed the 21-year-old Argentine International at the top of their transfer shortlist regardless of whether Gareth Bale joins the La Liga champions Real Madrid.<br /><br />According to Goal.com, Spurs officials are now in preliminary talks with the Serie A side over a posible switch for the player.<br /><br />Erik Lamela joined As Roma from Argentine club River Plate during the 2011 summer transfer window for a fee of &pound;10m.
