Arsenal are eyeing a move for Schalke right-back Atsuto Uchida to provide the defensive cover this summer.
The talented Japanese defender is considered to be a long-term replacement for Bacary Sagna.<br /><br />Reports in England suggest Arsenal have made an enquiry with the Bundesliga outfit over the 25-year-old recently.
The Gunners boss is looking for a right-back who would provide challenge to Carl Jenkinson for the first team slot, if Sagna is to leave in the near future.<br /><br />Bacary Sagna has entered the final year of his contract and can depart the Emirates side on a free at the end of the current season if there is no formal agreement over a contract extension.
