Manchester United to bid for Samuel Eto'o?

15 August 2013 - 06:36

According to The Mirror, Cameroonian International Samuel Eto'o has been reportedly linked with a move to the Premier League champions Manchester United.

Anzhi Makhachkala owner Suleyman Kerimov recently announced that all the players in the squad were available for transfer after he decided to cut on the financial budget at the Russian Football Premier League side.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • This means the club's top earner Samuel Eto'o is now in search of a new club which could offer him a decent salary and the Red Devils United are said to be keen on bringing the Anzhi Forward to Old Trafford.

Chelsea were also keeping an eye on the former Barcelona star until Eto'o's agent asserted the striker was happy at the Russian outfit.

However if Eto'o is to join Manchester United, he would have to take a substantial pay-cut from his current salary of £350,000 per week
