Tottenham have completed a deal for Etienne Capoue. The French international joins from Toulouse for an estimated 11 million Euros. The player arrived in London for a medical yesterday and the transfer has been made official today.
The 25-year-old has signed a five year contract at White Hart Lane, and Spurs have beaten the likes of Cardiff City and French side Monaco to his coveted signature.
Capoue, who is comfortable playing in both midfield or in defence, has been reportedly told by Spurs' manager Andre Villas-Boas that he will initially be playing as a central defender as the club have sold Steven Caulker to Cardiff City earlier in the summer.
