Tottenham seal Etienne Capoue transfer

Tottenham have completed a deal for Etienne Capoue. The French international joins from Toulouse for an estimated 11 million Euros. The player arrived in London for a medical yesterday and the transfer has been made official today.

The 25-year-old has signed a five year contract at White Hart Lane, and Spurs have beaten the likes of Cardiff City and French side Monaco to his coveted signature.<br />

Capoue, who is comfortable playing in both midfield or in defence, has been reportedly told by Spurs' manager Andre Villas-Boas that he will initially be playing as a central defender as the club have sold Steven Caulker to Cardiff City earlier in the summer.
