Sunderland boss Roy Keane has insisted that Sven-Goran Eriksson will soon be wanted back by the England fans as they face failure to qualify for Euro 2008, whilst under Sven England qualified everytime. Keane has praised Sven for his time as England boss.
He told The Sun: âTheir form has been no surprise. You just have to look at Svenâs record at club level and international level.
âI knew Sven would do a good job there. His club record is very, very good. His international record isnât bad. If England donât qualify, maybe people will be wanting him back!
âHeâs a gentleman and I look forward to pitting my wits against him. The experience he has is something I hope to have one day.â
