Swansea City manager confirms striker chase

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup yesterday confirmed that he would be making a move for a striker before the end of the transfer window. Despite having Wilfried Bony and Michu on the books, the Danish manager wants to sign one more forward.

    In an interview regarding is plans for the rest of the transfer window, Laudrup said: "Signing a striker is a priority because goals are so important.<br />

    "Signing Wilfried Bony was great, but we still need a different kind of striker as well because hopefully we will play many games this season."
