Man Utd closing in on new signings

Manchester United manager David Moyes has told reporters that he is closing in on some new players, it is just a matter of time before these can be announced. United were heavily linked with Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas this month, but a deal for the Spaniard has been scuppered.

&ldquo;I&rsquo;m confident we&rsquo;ll have players in soon,&rsquo; Moyes said.<br /><br />&ldquo;We&rsquo;re involved in several players we&rsquo;re looking at and that will continue. Will we get them before the deadline? I hope so, but we&rsquo;re working very hard to do so.<br /><br />&ldquo;It was always going to be a difficult window for me personally. I joined on July 1st, which has given me a short period.<br /><br />&ldquo;It&rsquo;s never the same until you&rsquo;ve worked with the players, but we&rsquo;ve got a great group of players, they won the Premier League last year.&rdquo;
