19 August 2013 - 13:02

AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao has denied claims linking him with an exit from the French Ligue 1 club within the summer transfer window.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • The 27-year-old Colombian International joined the French Ligue 2 champions from La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid only this summer, but reports had expressed that the striker was unhappy at the Stade Louis II.

He told L'Equipe : "It's a totally false article. I'm very happy at Monaco and I believe in the project.

"Everything is false, even the numbers quoted by the press are false. I feel great at the club and I'm going to stay here."

Monaco are firmly placed at the top of Ligue 1 after their  4-1 win over Montpellier on Sunday.
