Scott Wootton signs for Leeds United from Manchester United

Championship outfit Leeds United have completed the signing of Scott Wootton from the Premier League champions Manchester United on a three-year deal, as per Sky Sports.

The 21-year-old centre-back, who has spent the past couple of seasons on loan at Peterborough United, represented the Red Devils in the Champions League and Capital One Cup last season.

  • Leeds manager McDermott told Sky Sports : "I'm delighted to have agreed the signing of Scott Wootton on a three-year deal.



    "He's a player who has played in the Champions League and someone we feel will develop with us in the coming years.



    "I want to say thanks for the owners in doing the deal and bringing another young player to help us go forward."
