Norwich sign Johan Elmander on loan

21 August 2013 - 18:26

Norwich have completed the signing of Sweden forward Johan Elmander on a season long loan deal, subject to international clearance.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The Galatasaray forward has found himself on the fringes and is looking for first team football to boost his chances of being included in the Sweden squad for the 2014 world cup should they qualify.

The striker spent 3 seasons in the Premier League with Bolton Wanderers, after moving from French club Toulouse for £10m, scoring 18 goals in 92 appearances.

He comes as the third striker to join the canaries this season, after Gary Hooper and record signing Ricky Van Wolfswinkel.
