Newcastle manager Alan Pardew is desperate to bring in another player before the end of the transfer window and is hoping that a striker will be signed. The Toon Army have so far completed a deal for Loic Remy on loan as their new forward transfer addition, but are looking to bring in another player.
<em>“If it doesn’t happen (new signings), like everything in life we are going to have to get on with it, with what we have got," said Pardew.</em><br />
<em>"We have still got a very good team with Remy on top of it.</em><br />
<em>"We lost Ba and got other guys in January, I still think one more would be the perfect scenario.</em><br />
<em>"A big player coming in boosts the group as well as the fans.</em><br />
<em>"I am going to say something that I don’t think this is true and say ‘oh, it is not affecting them’. </em><em>I think they would like to see another striker come in the door.”</em>
