The Gunners are expected to seal the signing of former midfield star Mathieu Flamini within this weekend, according to BBC Sport.
Mathieu Flamini, who is currently a free-agent following his release by Serie A club AC Milan earlier this summer, made 102 Premier League appearances for the North London club during his spell between 2004 and 2008.<br />
The 29-year-old French midfielder began training with the Gunners a forthnight ago, and according to a report from BBC Sport, he looks very probable to sign a short-term deal at the Emirates in the next few days.<br /><br />As the Gunners currently have a squad with less experience within the substitutes' bench, Flamini could well feature for the side in their next Premier League encounter against Fulham on Saturday.
