Arsenal to re-sign former star Mathieu Flamini?

The Gunners are expected to seal the signing of former midfield star Mathieu Flamini within this weekend, according to BBC Sport.

Mathieu Flamini, who is currently a free-agent following his release by Serie A club AC Milan earlier this summer, made 102 Premier League appearances for the North London club during his spell between 2004 and 2008.<br />

The 29-year-old French midfielder began training with the Gunners a forthnight ago, and according to a report from BBC Sport, he looks very probable to sign a short-term deal at the Emirates in the next few days.<br /><br />As the Gunners currently have a squad with less experience within the substitutes' bench, Flamini could well feature for the side in their next Premier League encounter against Fulham on Saturday.&nbsp;
