La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid have made an ambitious move to bring Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata to the Vicente Calderon on a season-long loan deal, according to Spanish newpaper AS.
The talented midfielder has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge since the arrival of Jose Mourinho, in spite of his excellent form with the Blues last season.<br />
Juan Mata has been associated with a switch to either Arsenal or Manchester United but Atletico Madrid are considered favourites to beat the English clubs to the signing of the Spanish International on season-long loan deal ,as per Spanish newspaper AS.<br /><br />Chelsea face off against the Premier League champions Manchester United at Old Trafford today.
