Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has suggested that goalkeeper Jack Butland would be allowed to make a loan switch from the Britannia Stadium, only if the "right club" comes for his services.
The Potters manager chose Thomas Sorensen over Butland for his side's Capital One Cup encounter with Walsall.
Hughes later admitted in an interview that he would allow the England International to leave the club on a temporary deal.
The former Queens Park Rangers' manager told reporters: "Ideally we would like to get Jack Butland out on loan to help his development. It has to be to the right club, though."
