Milan chief Galliani rules out move for Kaka

Milan chief Galliani rules out move for Kaka

30 August 2013 - 18:26

AC Milan chief  Adriano Galliani has ruled out a move for Real Madrid midfielder Kaka amidst rumors that the Brazil international is set for a comeback to the San Siro.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • The last few hours has been hectic for Milan having successfully completed the signing of Juventus striker Alessandro Matri while Kevin Prince Boateng left the club to join Bundesliga side FC Schalke.

Galliani said: "The market depended completely on our qualification to the Champions League group phase.

"After 10 years Alessandro Matri has returned.

"Boateng? It has been a quick negotiation, within half a day but everything was quickly agreed for the player to move to Schalke."

However, Galliani dismissed rumors revolving around a possible return for Kaka to the San Siro and claimed a deal for Keisuke Honda seems more likely.

He said: "Kaka back? It's really, really difficult.

"I'd say there is more chance of us signing Honda than Kaka. The arrival of one will exclude the other one."
