Austria international winger Marko Arnautovic is closing in on a transfer to Stoke City, with the Potters set to pay a reported £2.3 million to secure the Werder Bremen forward's signing.
Arnautovic has been on the books with Werder for three years and has been a popular member of the squad at the Bundesliga side. However Arnautovic has now been told he is free to leave and Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is hoping to quickly wrap up a deal on transfer deadline day.
The 6 foot 3 winger will arrive in Stoke for talks tomorrow morning having been given permission to travel by Werder Bremen's board.
