Everton will make a bid for Fernando Francisco Reges as a replacement for the departing Marouane Fellaini. Fernando has been linked with a move to the Premier League several times in the past and Everton appear to have won the race for the coveted midfielder.

  • It is being reported in Portugal that Everton will make a bid of around 12 million Euros to secure Fernando's signature, with the player boarding a flight to England shortly to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical at Goodison Park.

With Man Utd's long time pursuit of Fellaini drawing to a close, Everton manager Roberto Martinez has been under to pressure to find a suitable replacement.

Fernando, who has been with Porto since 2007, has yet to make an appearance for the Brazil national team but is hoping a move to the Premier League will improve his chances ahead of next summer's World Cup in his home country.
