Stoke City have completed the signing of defender Kevin Gomez from Dutch Eredivisie outfit Feyenoord on a two-year deal.<br /><br />The 19-year-old who is set to spend his initial career with the youth squad, had earlier had a trial with the Potters, before penning an agreement at the Britannia Stadium.
Gomez told De Telegraaf : "The competition at Feyenoord is enormous.<br />
"I have to compete with defenders of the Dutch national team, so I know it would be very difficult in the near future to get a chance at Feyenoord. Stoke City was therefore a fantastic club at the right moment."
