Beckham wants training

09 November 2007 - 00:28

David Beckham is reportedly seeking a club in England to train with as he attempts to help England qualify for Euro 2008 as the crucial qualifier against Croatia beckons.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd set to hold contract talks with experienced star
  • Galaxy have given permission to Beckham, who is just three caps away from reaching 100, to fly back to England from California and seek out another club on a temporary basis to train with.

Beckham said: “The Galaxy haven’t got a problem with that. They know I have got to keep myself fit for the England games coming up.”

Ipswich and Tottenham are both reportedly willing to offer Beckham a base where he can practice but the former England captain, who last night played for Galaxy in an exhibition match against Vancouver Whitecaps, has yet to find a club willing to offer him use of their facilities.
