Liverpool center half Daniel Agger has expressed delight after seeing his club bring in eight new players this transfer window.
The Danish defender has been linked with a move away from Anfield this summer with Barcelona said to be considering a move for him. However, Agger has stayed on and he is extremely happy to see his club do some good business in the transfer market this summer.
"It has been a positive transfer window for us." Agger told Danish daily BT.
"We have brought in players with quality and that is what you want. I have not seen all in action yet, but what I have seen thus far is good."
The 28 year old also hailed the club authorities for managing to hold onto their top striker Luis Suarez despite the Uruguayan's repeated pleas to allow him leave the club.
"Of course, it was good that we could keep Suarez. Everyone who knows his qualities on the pitch, knows that he is a player we need."
