Iago Aspas enjoying his Liverpool stay

07 September 2013 - 06:17

Liverpool's summer signing Iago Aspas has insisted that he is enjoying his life at the Merseyside following his switch from La Liga outfit Celta Vigo.

The 26-year-old who has started the first three matches of the new Premier League campaign for the Reds in the absence of Luis Suarez, said that English football is much more physical than in his native country Spain.

Aspas told reporters : "I would tell any player to go to the Premier League. You get a different feeling – especially compared to Spain.

"It's the first time I've left home so that's been hard, but things are going well. I'm very happy, especially because we are leading the league. It's only been three games though, and it's a very long competition.

"I'm playing a bit further back that it did at Celta, but the big difference is how physical the league is compared to Spain."
