Zlatan Ibrahimovic rules out Premier League switch

12 September 2013 - 14:12

Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has ruled out a potential switch to the Premier League in the future, insisting that he has lost the opportunity due to his age.

  • Chelsea suffer double injury blow ahead of Villa trip
  • Gabriel Magalhaes to sign new Arsenal deal

  • The Swedish International skipper who has been linked with a move to the English's top tier in the past few seasons, has expressed that he is too old to think of that happening.

Ibrahimovic told BBC Sport : "To come to England? My time has passed. I am above 30, I have a good relationship with PSG, with the team. I feel that I can bring out all my qualities at PSG. I have a big responsibility also at PSG. So in my mind, no.

"But then you never know what happens in football. When I went to Barcelona, I was living my dream.

"In my head I was there for five years. In the end I was there for only one. So every time I plan my future, I change it. So better to take one day at a time."
