14 September 2013 - 13:40

Stoke City's summer signing Marko Arnautovic has insisted that he signed for the Potters as manager Mark Hughes convince him to join the club.

  • Chido Obi to leave Man Utd on loan
  • Chelsea star suffers hamstring injury on international duty
  • The Austria International striker joined the Potters from Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen on transfer deadline day for a fee of £2m.

Arnautovic told The Sentinel : "The trainer gave me a very good feeling about the club when he came over to Germany to speak to me.

"He said many good things and made Stoke City a very good option for me. I am really happy to be here and I have to thank the club for giving me this opportunity to come here and play in the Premier League.

"I hope that I can pay them back for the faith they have in me with good performances."
