Arsene Wenger has described Mesut Ozil's debut for Arsenal as "outstanding".
The German International who signed for the North London outfit from La Liga giants Real Madrid for a club record fee of £42.5m on transfer deadline day, was handed his first competitive match during the Gunners' 3-1 victory over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.<br />
It looked like Ozil was at the club for many years as he layed in his first assist to Olivier Giroud who open notched up his fourth goal of the Premier League campaign.<br />
Wenger told Sky Sports: <em>"He was absolutely outstanding. </em><br />
<em> "In the second half he was lacking a bit physically, but considering he has been ill this week, he was very good."</em><br />
Arsenal are currently at the top of the Premier League following their impressive win at the Stadium of Light.
