Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that his side's wasteful finishing was the main reason for their 1-0 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park.

The Blues had a number of chances to come back on level terms, especially in the first half, and Mourinho insisted that his side where the better team on the day.<br /><br />&nbsp;Mourinho told Sky Sports :&nbsp;<em>"Of course, of course.&nbsp;<br /><br />"We played the best football. We had 21 shots and risked everything we could, and in that respect we didn't deserve to lose.<br /><br />"But on the other side a team who has chances like that, some of them easy shots, and doesn't take them deserves to lose."</em>
