Cristiano Ronaldo has ended speculation over his long term future at Real Madrid and has signed a brand new contract with his club until 2018. The Portugal international will earn a massive 17 million Euros per year.
The 28-year-old's decision to sign a new contract will be announced today at the Bernabeu Stadium as club president Florentino Perez will disclose the terms of his deal. It is understood that Ronaldo has signed a five year deal.
It has been reported that Ronaldo's new deal puts him on similar terms to new signing Gareth Bale, who joined from Tottenham in the last transfer window.
