15 September 2013 - 15:59

Tottenham's new striker Roberto Soldado has hailed Christian Eriksen's impact during the club's 2-0 win over Norwich yesterday.

 • Barcelona have genuine interest in Chelsea forward
 • Man Utd handed boost in signing West Ham star?
 • The 21 year old young playmaker made his move from Ajax last month but had to wait to make his Premier League debut following the international break. Eriksen made a promising start to his Tottenham career as he assisted Gylfi Sigurdsson for his first and was one of the top performers for Spurs thrughout the match.
Soldado, who himself came close to scoring on a number of occasions, heaped praise on the playmaker and the impact he had on the game.
"He is a brilliant player. It's incredible that he has got up to this level already in his first game in English football," the Spain international said.
"It's great for him, for the team. He is a player who is capable of improving all of us.
"He is a player that makes everything look easy and that's good for us. Today he made the difference; he's a player that can support us in everything we do. He can offer us a lot of passes to everyone who plays in attack for Spurs."
