Angel Rangel proud of Swansea's victory over Valencia

Swansea City defender Angel Rangel believes that the club have proven what they are capable of, after beating a top side in Valencia in the Europa league on Thursday.

  • The Swans shocked many by trouncing Valencia by a scoreline of 3-0 and the stand-in skipper Angel Rangel revealed of his pride on leading the Welsh side to the improbable victory. 



    Rangel told reporters: "It's a very proud moment for me. I don't think anyone expected what happened, we showed how good we are.

    "It's the first time in my career [to be captain] and coming to Spain and winning in a big stadium, and also the way we did, is fantastic."
