Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho: 'I don't care what AVB has to stay'

28 September 2013 - 01:20

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has suggested that his relationship with Andre Villas-Boas is still soar by stating that he has no interest in what the Tottenham Hotspur boss has to say about him.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • Andre Villas-Boas had worked as a scout under Mourinho during his managerial reigns at Porto, Inter Milan and Chelsea.

During yesterday's news conference, Mourinho had suggested that the 35-year-old manager was childish to talk to the media on their rift.

Mourinho said: "I don't care what he says. I'm not here to do that. I'm not interested. I managed a Champions League final against a manager who was important in my career and taught me to grow up and I did it in a professional way, and that is a way you have to do it.

"I have had so many assistants in my career. I was always an open book to them and with the coaches in the academy. Will I go for a glass of wine with him? When people invite me I always go. I never refuse."
