Former Chelsea star Kalou open to Premier League return

Former Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou is open to a return to England at some time in the near future. West Ham and West Brom were both linked with a move for the Ivory Coast international in August.

A deal to the Hammers or Baggies fell through towards the end of the transfer window and subsequently the player decided to stay with his current club Lille until the end of this campaign.<br />

However, the Ivorian is seemingly open to a return to England.<br />

"I am happy at Lille but I could return to the Premier League in the future," he said. "I had the chance to go there this summer but I decided to stay in France.<br />

"I think Lille accepted an offer from West Ham but I decided to stay, Lille have been good for me and my challenge is to get myself at the top of my game in a World Cup year."
